The Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide essential support to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with exceptional organisational and communication skills, able to handle a wide variety of tasks and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
This role requires the ability to work independently (both in-office, on-location and from home), while maintaining close communication with the Managing Director. The Executive Assistant will help manage the Managing Director’s schedule, oversee administrative tasks, and assist with business operations, ensuring that priorities are handled efficiently and effectively.
The Candidate
As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director. Key duties include managing the Director’s calendar, sorting travel arrangements, shipping customer orders and supporting the MD with research on given projects. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for the MD, handling correspondence, screening communications, and ensuring that all messages and requests are appropriately prioritised.
In addition to managing the MD’s personal and professional engagements, you will support day-to-day operations of the business. This includes the fulfilment of customer orders, handling customer service enquiries and managing B2B and B2C relationships. You will play a crucial role in organising key events, coordinating logistics and preparing relevant documentation for meetings and projects. Your ability to handle these tasks with discretion and a high level of accuracy will be essential to maintaining the company’s high service standards.
A key part of your role will involve managing personal and sensitive information with complete confidentiality; both for the safety and security of the MD and in compliance with GDPR regulations.
The role occasionally requires weekend or extended hours around particular business activations (e.g. product launches).
Preferred Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting executives, with strong organisational and communication skills. You should be proficient in managing calendars, booking travel, and handling correspondence. Experience with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) is essential, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms or financial systems is a plus.
We are looking for a proactive, adaptable individual who can handle multiple priorities efficiently. Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously is crucial.
