This is an exciting new opportunity to join Aspire as Finance and Admin Manager, reporting directly to the Finance Director.
You will oversee the delivery of the finance and admin functions, providing line management support to the Central Finance and Admin Team. The development of new systems and processes, making effective use of available technologies, is also a key part of the role. You should be analytical, knowledgeable, and organised with a proactive attitude with strong leadership skills.
The financial aspects of this role include overseeing the financial appointeeship service and transactional finance activities. In addition, you will be expected to undertake a range of duties including payroll and timesheet review, budget preparation and monitoring, income and expenditure analysis, variance analysis, cash flow projections, grant claims, preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements.
As a key member of our Operational Management Team, you will be able to provide financial/admin advice, guidance and support to budget managers and colleagues, promoting awareness and delivering training across our services.
The successful candidate will have experience in finance/accountancy/business administration, excellent organisational, numerical, analytical and IT skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
