Purpose of the role:
To support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Job Description:
Accountabilities:
1. Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
2. Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
3. Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
4. Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
5. Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
6. Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
7. Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
8. Support change management activities, including the development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
Vice President Expectations:
1. Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
2. If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes.
3. For individual contributors, be a subject matter expert within own discipline and guide technical direction.
4. Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
5. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
6. Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
7. Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
8. Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
9. Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have:
* Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Demonstration of working with a range of stakeholders including Trading and Technology partners.
* Strong Triage and high-level analysis skills including impact assessment, feasibility studies, analysis of dependencies.
Some Other Highly Valued Skills Include:
* Familiarity with Macro products and proven in-depth knowledge of at least one Capital Markets asset class.
* Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
