Job Description
| 8098 | Secondment opportunity/temporary contract for 18 months | Part-time 18.5 hours, 2.5 days per week | Salary: £25,584 to £27,269 per annum pro rata | Grade E | Cromer Museum
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and well-organised individual to help deliver a National Heritage Lottery Fund supported project. The project involves researching and promoting geology and fossil collectors of Cromer and creating digital resources for Cromer Museum Geology Gallery to improve access to the collection.
The successful candidate will work with the Curator of Cromer Museum and the Chair of the Friends of Cromer Museum to coordinate and monitor the project’s delivery, including its timescale and budget. You will develop and deliver collections research and digital resources as part of this funded project.
Ideal candidates will be motivated, efficient, personable, and possess excellent IT skills. First-class communication skills, the ability to prioritise workloads, and good initiative are essential. Experience in a museum environment, working with externally funded projects, or volunteers is desirable.
