We have an exciting new opportunity for a Patient Billing Coordinator to join our growing team.

The New Foscote Hospital was established in Banbury over 40 years ago and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region. Core Responsibilities:
* Accurately bill charges related to Hospital Activity.
* Process the daily banking and update reconciling documents.
* Continuously improve revenue capture.
What you will be doing:
* Raise charges for all patients and non-patient accounts on Compucare.
* Calculate and raise quotations for self-pay patients.
* Ensure all accounts are raised and billed within the prescribed timeframe.
* Ensure all invoices are successful in EDI and investigate and rectify failed invoices.
* Monthly reporting and reconciliations.
* Process, receipt, and post all payments to the relevant accounts.
* Assist patients, consultants, and medical secretaries with queries.
* Process and payment of provider accounts.
* Ad hoc analysis.
* Support with credit control and rebilling.
* Be an integral member of the Finance Team supporting the Transactions Manager with any ad-hoc duties, as required.
* Comply with obligations in respect of the Health and Safety at work legislation and attend all allocated training sessions and department meetings.
Who we are looking for:
* Minimum 1 year’s experience (required)
* Financial experience in the private medical sector (desirable)
* Financial experience with PMI/Insurance (desirable)
* Strong IT and Excel skills (required) and Compucare (desirable)
* Intention to gain professional accounting qualification (required)
* Proactive and team-spirited
* Ability to demonstrate high standards of verbal and written communication
* Ability to present information clearly and concisely
* Tact and diplomacy
* Ability to work flexibly and respond to urgent matters
* Ability to follow instructions and work to tight time constraints
