We have a fantastic opportunity for 2x apprentices to join our Product Management department as an Apprentice Product Assistant. The successful candidates will support the product team in driving the development, improvement, and successful delivery of products.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Support Costing Process: Work with the Product Managers to create costings, including reading and interpreting customer drawings, creating initial concept bills of materials, requesting pricing from procurement department for external component quotations, and generating resultant purchase requisitions.
* Manage New Enquiries: Handle and support, technical and general enquiries from both internal and external customers, working to ensure fast responses to queries.
* Assist in New Products and Projects: Assist with the initial review and help with the project management of new products and projects in conjunction with the PM and supporting any resultant work with Design Office.
* General Administrative Tasks
The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally. This is a work-based apprenticeship including work-based assessments and online learning. The candidate must be willing to travel and attend college approximately once per month to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
Candidates should be self-motivated and have or expect to achieve at least five GCSE grades 5-9 or equivalent, including Maths and English.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
