JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) Develop individualised educational plans and learning strategies Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress Assess students' learning needs and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to ensure students' needs are met Required Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN) Valid DBS check Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN practises and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit individual student needs Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience using assistive technology in teaching Working Conditions: Work in a school environment Part-time hours with flexibility Interact with students, teachers, and parents on a regular basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
