Role: Locum Clinical Trials Pharmacist Banding: Band 8a Location: Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Hours: Full-time Rate: £34 - £39 per hour The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Locum Pharmacist to join our team for a three-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening new clinical trials, processing trial amendments and checking dispensed products. Key Responsibilities: You will ensure compliance with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines. You will coordinate with clinical trial teams to manage trial supplies. You will maintain accurate records of trial medications and amendments. You will provide expert advice on clinical trial protocols and procedures. You will conduct regular audits to ensure trial compliance. You will train and support staff on clinical trial processes and GCP standards. You will liaise with external stakeholders, including trial sponsors and regulatory bodies. Requirements: Education and Qualifications: GPhC Registered. 1 year pre-registration training. Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC. Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential. Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications. Why work with Pulse?
