Reed is working with a Central Bristol based Travel Business, supporting with the hire of a Travel Operations Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.
Due to company growth, the opportunity has arisen for a new member to join the global Booking Delivery Team in February 2025. Interviews to happen before Christmas.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in travel operations and a passion for Southeast Asia (destination is not essential).
You will play a crucial role in securing services for client bookings and generating accurate final travel documents, ensuring a seamless travel experience for clients.
Duties:
1. Act as the essential link between our Travel Consultants and suppliers, managing booking queues, reservations, and client requests to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality group tours and tailor-made trips.
2. Generate and quality-check client and tour leader travel documents, maintaining up-to-date client and product details to ensure the accuracy of automated documents.
3. Assist with administrative sales-related tasks, such as preparing transport tickets, handling deliveries, and compiling travel documents for clients.
4. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners, ensuring all services are booked correctly and all necessary client information is communicated.
5. Conduct quality checks at various stages—from booking confirmation to pre-departure—to ensure all details are accurate and complete.
6. Monitor work queues to ensure all tasks are completed within required timeframes.
Requirements:
1. Experience working in travel.
2. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
3. Any knowledge of Southeast Asia would be advantageous but not essential.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
7. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
