Job Description:
As an M&E Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mechanical and electrical installations on our residential projects. You will ensure the smooth coordination of M&E systems, working closely with subcontractors, site teams, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of mechanical and electrical installations on residential projects.
2. Lead, coordinate, and motivate the M&E team on-site, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
4. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
5. Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
6. Ensure adherence to all relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
7. Prepare and submit regular reports to the Project Manager, detailing progress, risks, and any necessary corrective actions.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager, ideally within residential projects.
2. In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and building services.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
5. A relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HND, degree, or equivalent).
6. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and valid CSCS card.
7. Strong commitment to health and safety, quality, and project delivery.
