The Opportunity As part of a dedicated national sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with our Client’s key National Builders Merchant Accounts. Acting as the primary contact, the Key Account Manager ensures the delivery of exceptional service and support to drive sales growth, improve market share, and strengthen the company’s long-term partnerships. Main Duties and Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with key national civils merchant accounts. Develop account plans and strategies at Branch level to achieve agreed sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring clear and effective communication across all levels. Monitor sales performance within each account and identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share. Coordinate with the internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, customer service) to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and product availability. Analyse market trends, customer data, and competitor activity to inform decision-making and support account growth. Prepare and present reports on account performance, forecasts and stock profiles. Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to maintain strong customer relationships and represent the business professionally. Ensure contract compliance and proactively manage any risks or issues affecting key account relationships.
