The job itself
The Education Welfare Service is looking to recruit a Children’s Services Administrator (Level 1) to support with the statutory duties undertaken to support young people access education and enrichment activities. We are looking for candidates who can work with a dynamic team, able to build positive relationships within the team and across other services and schools.
A good level of education and experience in all round administration work, use of information and data is essential. Good IT skills and knowledge of Office IT packages, Word and Excel are essential. Candidates must be organised, approachable and have good time keeping and be able to maintain confidentiality. An understanding of the role of the Education Welfare Service is desirable. Each member of the support team works two days per week from County Hall to support effective service delivery therefore the successful candidate will also be expected to be part of this rota. Induction will take place in County Hall for one month, with a review thereafter.
