An exciting opportunity for a Streetworks Co-ordinator has become available working for the water utilities of a leading civil engineering and utility contractor in Wales. The business maintains a reputation as a top-performing utility contractor and has enjoyed steady organic growth year on year, with a current turnover forecasted at circa £1BN per annum.
Hybrid working is on offer.
The Role
* Reporting to the Streetwork Manager, the Streetworks Co-ordinator will be responsible for assisting with the management and administration of permitting.
* Duties will include the monitoring and coordination of streetwork activities.
* Collate all required permit information for works to allow the client to raise the permits.
* Regularly liaising with the client to ensure all permits are administered with the correct information so that no FPNs or charges are incurred.
* Assisting management with challenging/resolving any FPNs received for completed works.
Experience Required
* Excellent knowledge of permit conditions and requirements is essential.
* Good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA).
* Proficient in Microsoft packages and have excellent communication skills.
