Who You Are You are an experienced LGV Technician with a strong background in motor vehicle technology, including cars, light goods vehicles, municipal vehicles, and parks equipment. You possess substantial experience in general hydraulic, welding, and electrical repairs, and have a flexible approach to work. You are adaptable to changing environments to meet customer needs and are comfortable working under or on vehicles, at varying heights, and in confined spaces. What the Job Involves Your primary responsibility is to service, repair, and maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment according to legislative and health and safety requirements. You will conduct vehicle testing per VOSA regulations, manage stores for stock levels, and provide roadside assistance for breakdowns. This role includes supervisory responsibilities, such as inducting staff and providing training. Duties also involve diagnosing faults, managing vehicle repairs, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
