We are actively recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for our client a Liverpool based Media company, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and very successful business and be responsible for the day to day running of the company accounts. Reporting into the Accounts Manager Ideally this person will be AAT Level 3 qualified and have proven experience in an Accounts department and can undertake a variety of accounts duties including preparation of monthly financial statements for review. Duties and responsibilities: Purchase Ledger duties – uploading and coding of invoices and handling supplier queries. Supplier statement reconciliations. Sales Ledger duties – raising sales invoices, checking coding and handling queries. Credit Control duties. Daily bank reconciliations. Preparation of monthly financial statements for review Requirements: Experience with Microsoft Excel. Strong organisation skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a team but confident working alone. Good computer skills. Good attention to detail is essential.
