Senior Credit Risk & Solutions Manager
Alexander Daniels Credit Division is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Credit Risk & Solutions Manager on behalf of our client, a leading operator in their sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced credit manager to join a strategic and dynamic Credit Risk team, driving business growth while managing and mitigating credit risk.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for maximising credit terms across customer accounts, working closely with a Credit Risk Analyst to mitigate risks. This is a service-oriented role, partnering with the sales team to support business growth both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively collaborate with sales and customers to protect and optimise credit terms.
2. Develop new credit options in partnership with the Sales Director.
3. Work with the Accounts Receivable Manager to identify and mitigate risks.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer CFOs and Finance Directors to assess credit risks.
5. Advise the Commercial Director on potential risks and escalate issues as needed.
6. Provide credit availability updates and exposure reports to senior leadership.
7. Gather and analyse credit data, using sources such as Allianz Intelligence and public reports.
8. Manage relationships with credit insurance providers.
9. Ensure compliance with GDPR and customer data security policies in collaboration with the Compliance Manager.
10. Oversee order approvals, archiving programs, and data verification processes.
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in Credit Risk Management, with strong credit control expertise.
* IT distribution or IT reseller experience is advantageous.
* A service-driven approach with strong relationship-building skills.
* Analytical mindset, with attention to detail and strong research capabilities.
* Organised, solution-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
* Confident, proactive, and adaptable, with a team-player mentality.
