Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs, including SEMH, autism, and learning disabilities. Work closely with support staff and the SENCO to create and implement personalized learning plans for students. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where students are encouraged to participate and thrive. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary. Support students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior and wellbeing. Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development. What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a special educational needs (SEN) setting. Experience working with students with a variety of SEN, including SEMH, autism, and moderate learning difficulties. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching and supporting students.
