Are you looking for a change and want to try 1:1 tuition?\n\nTP Tutors are currently seeking an individual who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives by achieving their academic goals within English, in the Sunderland area.\n\nThis role will require someone to work closely with students on a 1-1 basis, providing them with high-quality English sessions to maximise their potential across the subject. This role may involve working with children outside of a mainstream setting.\n\nTutor Requirements:\n\nProfessional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS).\nA strong subject knowledge of the English Curriculum.\nAn Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided)\nProfessional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.\nExperience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.\nThis role involves: \n\nPlanning, creating and delivering engaging sessions to children who are currently working below expectations.\nAssessing pupils, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.\nUsing a variety of behavioural strategies to ensure the children are engaged.\nHaving an awareness of the child’s needs and interest, using this to create a child-centred approach to learning.\nBenefits of working with TP Tutors:\n\nDedicated tuition consultant and team to support you in all roles.\nExtensive CPD and upskilling opportunities (including training on our bespoke pupil tracking system).\nFlexible part-time hours to suit a busy schedule.\nWeekly pay through PAYE (meaning no fees from Umbrella companies)\nOur ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme, where you can earn money by nominating your fellow colleagues for work.\nOpportunity to work on a 1-1 basis making a significant impact on a child’s education.\nIf this role intertest you, please apply by sending an up to date CV.\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
