Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant looking for part-time hours? If you have said yes, then we want to hear from you.
We are currently recruiting for a small but long-established, successful supplier/importer business in Street Somerset. The hours are around 24 per week, and you can choose between working Monday to Friday or 3 days per week. You will report into the management team and be responsible for:
1. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyse financial data, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and provide recommendations to senior management.
2. Budget Management: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning to support business goals, regularly reporting to management.
3. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.
4. VAT & Transactions: Handle VAT submissions and manage company transactions with precision.
5. Payroll: Oversee monthly payroll processes.
6. Managing purchase & sales ledger.
7. Cost control.
What we're looking for:
1. Qualifications: AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
2. Experience: Proven experience in financial services, accounting, cost control, and financial management.
3. Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial planning principles and practices.
4. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial software, advanced MS Excel skills, SAGE experience.
5. Someone seeking part-time hours.
6. Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
7. Industry Experience: Experience in the import of goods, preferably fashion industry and a knowledge of the sector is beneficial, but not essential.
8. Local to Street in Somerset.
