Sales Administrator
Monday to Thursday - 8:30am - 5:15pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
1 hour for lunch every day.
Salary: £26,000
Location: Based in Rugby
Holidays:
25 days plus bank holidays (3-4 days Christmas shutdown to be taken as mandatory holidays)
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have experience in sales administration, customer service, or internal sales for a manufacturer or distributor. The ability to cross-sell and up-sell while communicating with customers is essential, along with the capability to react quickly and accurately as all orders received by lunchtime that are in stock go out that day for next-day delivery.
Reporting Structure:
Reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager under the supervision of the Team Leader. The role involves direct contact with all members of the sales administrator team, field-based sales team, other office and warehouse colleagues, along with the Directors.
Day-to-Day Duties:
1. Be the first point of contact with customers (telephone calls and emails), offering excellent customer service.
2. Process orders and quotations.
3. Answer product questions, advising on product features, pricing, and availability.
4. Resolve general customer queries, escalating to Team Leader if necessary.
5. Carry out Telesales campaigns (soft calls to existing customers).
6. Daily invoicing.
7. Monitor time-critical orders, relaying information on any delays.
8. Gain product knowledge throughout training.
9. Be the point of contact for customers regarding invoicing queries.
About You:
1. 3 years of experience in internal sales.
2. Experience in a fast-paced environment.
3. Ability to cross-sell and up-sell.
4. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
5. Approachable team player.
6. Attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task.
