About You
We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager with at least three years’ experience either from construction or a related sector to lead technical management services across a diverse portfolio of development projects. In this role, you be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of sites in the development phase, from acquisition of the land through construction delivery and to handover.
With proven experience managing the full project lifecycle you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will also excel in leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with experts in land purchase, design, planning, and construction to achieve outstanding results.
Additionally, your strong track record in building and maintaining relationships with local and statutory authorities will ensure compliance with planning systems, building regulations, and NHBC standards.

Your Attributes
You will have:
* Solid experience with MS Project; knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD is a plus.
* Excellent planning, project management, and organisational skills.
* Technical and design development proficiency.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and drive projects to success under pressure.

The Role
Reporting to the Divisional Development Director this key role will be pivotal in delivering development management expertise to the division.
Responsibilities will include:
* Plan and manage all design and technical elements of the project throughout its lifecycle in order to achieve timely delivery to agreed Key Dates as well as delivering quality of design to agreed costs.
* Drive project ethos to maximise returns, using effective Value Engineering and Design Efficiency techniques.
* After Build Start and during the construction phase, ensure that the external project design team deliver all information needed to achieve Handover.
* Ensure that all designs utilise standard template designs wherever possible and bespoke design is kept to an essential minimum.
* Drive the project team approach by forming and managing a cohesive project team, with clear roles and responsibilities. The project team consists of internal and external experts in land purchase, architectural and technical design, Planning, estimating, surveying, Pre-Contracts, Health and Safety, construction, and sales.
