Multi-Skills Lecturer Annual Salary: £37,600 - £40,000 Location: Kingston upon Thames Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a Multi-Skills Lecturer to join our team, delivering training in Bricklaying, Wall Tiling, and Carpentry. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in these trades and experience in teaching or training. A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential for candidates with significant industry experience. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver practical and theoretical training sessions in Bricklaying, Wall Tiling, and Carpentry. Prepare lesson plans and training materials based on current industry standards. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning. Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment in the workshop and classroom. Update and manage training resources to ensure they meet the needs of the learners and the requirements of the curriculum. Engage with industry partners to ensure training remains relevant and up-to-date. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the training programs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in Bricklaying, Wall Tiling, and Carpentry, with the ability to teach these skills effectively. A teaching qualification is preferred, such as a PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
