Job summary We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Countywide Lead Decontamination Manager who is looking for an exciting new challenge. This post that will support the Endoscopy Service with operational and quality management of the decontaminations service, ensuring the service meets the highest standards for decontamination and JAG standards. The individual will be joining the team at an opportune moment to be involved with future strategic planning of the service, shaping the future of the sterilisation and decontamination services across the Trust. The successful post holder will also provide support to the Trusts decontamination committee to help facilitate in moving the wider Trust decontamination agenda forward and will have close working relationships with the Trusts infection prevention control team and JAG Governance Lead Main duties of the job As well as the above the role of Decontamination Lead will be to oversee and support the day to day operations of the service with a particular focus on quality systems management, ensuring high standards are maintained and that the processes are kept up to date with current standards of practice and fulfillment of regulatory requirements. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual with experience of working at a senior level within decontamination and must have a demonstrable track record of technical skills and knowledge and leadership.
