Job summary We are looking to recruit a Podiatrist Laboratory Technician to join our East Cheshire NHS Trust Community Podiatry Service on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will form part of the East Cheshire community podiatry team. The East Cheshire Podiatry Service provides routine podiatry for high risk patients, wound care, nail surgery, biomechanical assessment and orthotic provision, and a domiciliary service. The service is offered in variety of settings across a large geographical area, including hospital inpatients, community clinics, health centres and GP surgeries providing a range of advanced clinical foot services to the local population.The successful candidate will need to be a team player withexcellent clinical, communication and organisational skills. They will alsorequire a positive attitude to personal and professional development. NHS experience and working in the community is desirable. Hours per week: 7.5 Main duties of the job To manufacture simple insoles and complex orthotics and support the operational running of the orthotics labs.
