We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Invogue Limited. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company by managing day-to-day accounting tasks.
This is an office-based role and will require applicants to commute to Ascot Business Park (SL5 9FE) from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raising/tracking invoices for both sales and purchases.
2. Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
3. Handling invoice queries effectively and resolving them promptly.
4. Assisting in the analysis of the sales ledger and project accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
5. Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end processes to ensure a smooth financial closing.
6. Assisting with the purchase ledger as required, ensuring supplier accounts are up-to-date.
7. Performing ad hoc tasks and supporting the wider team as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
8. Reconciling bank statements and managing petty cash transactions.
Requirements:
1. Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in MS Office.
2. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
3. Organisation and time-management.
4. Written and verbal communication skills.
5. (Preferred) AAT qualification or equivalent is preferred.
6. (Preferred) Experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
