Practice Nurse Essential Responsibilities will involve: Venepuncture Blood pressure ECG Height/Weight/BMI Health Promotion Childhood and Adult Immunisations Wound Care Contraception Cervical Screening Spirometry Long-term condition management such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma Some experience of long-term condition management and cervical screening is essential. The successful candidate must: Registered with the NMC Degree in Nursing Substantial Practice Nurse experience Evidence of ongoing CPD Minimum of 1 Long Term Condition diploma Have knowledge of patients with long term conditions Be familiar with Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and associated policy Produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
