Our client is an industrial processing business. They are looking for a proactive and driven hands:on maintenance to lead and develop their engineering team.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Be a hands:on manager, leading from the front
* Managing a team of X5 people
* Provide engineers with training and development plans
* PPM planning, strategic workload allocation, project management
* Creating SSoW, RAMS, RTWs, continuous improvement plans
* Monitor and manage KPis, budget targets, engineering compliance, health and safety
* Staff performance reviews, disciplinaries, appraisals, holiday management, sickness
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Must be a maintenance engineer with mechanical and electrical experience
* Happy to be a hands:on manager
* Qualified to HNC / HND level ideally
* Must have worked in some form of high:speed/volume manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of Health and Safety, continuous improvements, KPi performance management
* Experienced in creating SSoW (Safe Systems of Work), new procedures, SOPs
* Financial control and budget monitoring experience
* Beneficial to have IOSH / NEBOSH Health and Safety
* Strong and effective communicator
