QHSE Manager required based in Leigh, this is a full time, permanent position with a salary to £60,000 pa + benefits.
Working with an established market leader, they manufacture their specialist products on site, for clients who install them as part of their construction / civil projects across the world.
The role would be based at the Head Office with some travel, this is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career with a progressive, thriving international company.
As the QHSE Manager you will act as the quality lead on the company's products and systems and ensure they operate within all Heath, Safety and Environmental regulations
Responsibilities as the QHSE Manager include:
* Ensure that the company maintains and works within ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 90001:2018 and liaise with any external bodies on matters related to the external accreditation process.
* .Maintaining accreditation to SSIP systems such as Builders Profile, Safecontractor, Achilles UVDB, Constructionline and Acclaim.
* Maintain and implement a Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001.
Qualifications needed
* NEBOSH qualified
Experience needed
* Previous experience in production/industrial engineering environment
* Exposure to both QA and QC procedures
* Lead accreditation process for ISO 9001:2008
* Maintain a company QMS system
* Ensure company works within HSE legislation
* 3-5 years' experience of monitoring HSE statistics and putting systems and procedures in place to improve them

* Salary around £60,000 pa
* No car or car allowance, expenses for any trips will be reimbursed or a pool car provided depending on availability
* Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and Friday 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
