Comms Advisor

Summary:
My high-profile Utilities client is looking for a Comms Advisor to join their team based at their Warwick offices (2 days a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with a chance of extensions.
We are looking for an experienced internal comms professional to join the team on an interim basis. They will need to have business partner experience, strong writing skills, and a demonstrable ability to develop and deliver outcome-focused comms plans. They will have strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills and be comfortable operating under their own initiative and within a team.
Ideally, they will be digitally literate with practical experience of using and developing systems like SharePoint and Content Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively engage and support key stakeholders to develop effective communication plans aligned to the wider business goals and coordinated with the overall communication landscape of the organisation.
2. Create high-quality communication and engagement materials for use across a range of local channels, including visually engaging PowerPoint decks and written communications for SharePoint and newsletters.
3. Understand audience segmentation and apply the principles to our audience groups with a particular focus on field colleagues.
4. Proactive engagement with the business to identify stories and proof points that support the overall narrative of the organisation.
