Job Description
WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR is developing a diverse portfolio of propulsion systems for our modern luxury passenger cars. With an increasing focus on emissions and sustainability, in addition to continually improving performance, durability, and reliability attributes, these propulsion solutions are the most challenging we have ever delivered.
Come and join JLR as a Lead Engineer for Durability Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) in propulsion. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of power unit functional, durability, and attribute validation testing for one or more internal combustion engine programs, ensuring that this is executed safely, quality data is generated and analysed with the required integrity, and the outcomes communicated effectively.
It is essential that you have a strong background knowledge of propulsion components and systems supported with test and data analysis experience and a capacity to lead problem resolution within an automotive environment. Additionally, this role requires knowledge of how vibration impacts the durability and function of components in an automotive context and demonstrable experience in testing components or systems with respect to vibration.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who will role model interpersonal and communication skills and aspire to grow personally and technically.
