More detail about the role: Applicants will be required to have excellent IT and communication skills, with some experience of project management, and a genuine interest in achieving improved patient pathways through the development of the Epic EPR system. This fast-paced role will require exceptional organisational and planning skills to ensure the integrated EPR solution is maintained and optimised for the highest quality patient care.
Previous experience of at least one of the following is required:
1. Epic certification
2. Significant background in system implementation
3. Operational healthcare / UK laboratory experience
If you are shortlisted and are not currently Epic certified you will be invited to attend an online assessment. There will be a range of times and dates from which to choose. These will be confirmed once shortlisting has been completed. As part of this role you will be expected to undertake bespoke training with Epic (our EPR Partner & Supplier).
It is likely that training will be held remotely, although some training may require travel to Bristol or USA. We welcome applications from existing staff members currently employed by Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Interview Date: To be confirmed.
