An expanding company in the water treatment industry, established in 1999, is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join its growing team. The role offers a mobile, field-based position primarily covering the Southeast of the UK.

Key duties of a Water Hygiene Engineer:
1. Carry out routine water hygiene monitoring tasks in compliance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and HSG standards.
2. Collect and document water samples from various properties.
3. Complete and submit all work documentation promptly.
4. Perform system cleanings and disinfections in line with company procedures.
5. Test, service, and monitor thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs).
6. Conduct simple remedial plumbing tasks if qualified.
7. Perform analysis, testing, and dosing of closed water systems.
8. Understand and follow procedures for flushing low-temperature hot water and chilled systems, using system pumps or temporary flushing rigs per BSRIA guidelines.
9. Carry out analysis and testing of chlorine dioxide systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience in water hygiene and a genuine interest in the industry (training will be provided).
2. Full UK driving licence.
3. Ability to pass a full DBS check (company-paid).
4. Valid CSCS card.
5. Experience in flushing/chemical cleaning to BISRA standards is required for higher salary expectations.
6. Strong customer communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Basic IT skills.
9. Plumbing experience is beneficial.
