The Role As Design and Product Manager, you will take ownership of our product development lifecycle, from concept through to production and beyond. Youll oversee the design team, manage product portfolios, and work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure products meet market demand and maintain Mataras reputation for quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the design team to deliver innovative and reliable automation products Manage the product development process, including design validation and testing Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to refine requirements Oversee CAD design work and ensure technical accuracy across all documentation Drive continuous improvement in design processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor products Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support product launches and technical content About You Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field Proven experience in a design and/or product management role, ideally in manufacturing or engineering Strong understanding of pneumatic and linear automation systems is a plus Proficient in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) and technical documentation Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills A practical, hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and quality Are you passionate about design, innovation, and engineering precision?
