Compliance Officer/Senior Based in Leeds Your team Reporting into the Compliance Manager the Compliance Officer/Senior will join our operational compliance team and play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance across the business. You will provide vital support to navigate through regulatory changes, driving strategic compliance projects, whilst maintaining high standards. This role requires a high degree of independence, working at pace, strong attention to detail and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced regulatory landscape. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and committed to doing the right thing for our customers and the business. What you’ll do Support the Compliance Manager in leading responses to regulatory consultations. Analyse regulatory updates, assess their impact, and drive the implementation of essential changes. Stay up to date with UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and other regulatory body guidance, ensuring the business remains compliant. Act as a subject matter authority (SME) to provide advisory guidance to internal teams on compliance-related matters. Identify potential compliance risks and work proactively with teams to mitigate them. Be a trusted compliance partner across the business, building positive relationships with key internal partners. Support in developing, maintaining, and updating compliance policies, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving regulations. Update and maintain Licensing Objectives Learning in line with regulatory developments. Support in preparations for regulatory assessments, ensuring all case files, policies, and introductory decks are well-organised and meet high standards. How you’ll do it Confirmed experience in a risk/compliance role within the regulated environment. Experience with policy development, including maintaining, and updating compliance policies. Ability to interpret regulatory changes and implement compliance solutions. Experience leading projects and working cross-functionally. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast paced regulatory environment. Knowledge of the gambling industry and relevant regulations (advantageous).
