Job Title: Business Development Manager - Waterproofing & Roofing Systems

Area to be covered: National
Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 neg + bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid/electric company car + full benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager - Waterproofing & Roofing Systems will involve:
1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of waterproofing systems such as: bitumen roofing, liquid waterproofing, single ply, hot melt, green roofing & roofing accessories.
2. Majority of your time will be focused on critical infrastructure projects.
3. All of your time will be spent selling to and getting specified with architects, quantity surveyors, specialist sub-contractors & end users.
4. End user clients would include: Google, Microsoft & Film Studios.
5. Working on both new build and refurbishment projects.
6. Project sizes vary between £500k-£3m.
The ideal applicant will have:
1. Experience in waterproofing, roofing, roofing membrane, insulation and liquid waterproofing products.
2. Architectural specification sales experience in the building envelope / roofing industry.
3. A background in building product sales with an architect & contractors route to market.
4. Experience in waterproofing distribution sales.
5. Commercial awareness.
6. Tons of energy, autonomy, and drive.
