My client, a national housing developer, is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a traditional build scheme based in Peterborough, consisting of 120+ units, multi-phased scheme, HA.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as an Assistant Site Manager within a production team on similar new build traditional build projects. Someone who is keen, driven, and wants to build a successful career with a growing business.
Duties
* Assistant Site Manager reporting to the Site Manager
* Support with inductions and toolbox talks
* Work in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
* Programming
* Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working in line with programme and targets
* Bring any issues that cannot be rectified to the attention of the Site Manager
* Organise all trades, labour, and sub-contractors
* NHBC stage inspections
* Snagging/Re-snagging
* Provide clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
* Ensure the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
* Drive through quality at every stage of the construction process
* Ensure Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
* Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others
* Ensure any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Qualifications
* Assistant Site Management experience on traditional build housing schemes
* Experience of working with HA would be an advantage
* Trade background, while being a supervisor would be an advantage
* Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
* CSCS certification
* First Aid certification
