We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Product Owner to help revolutionise our Revenue Management System (RMS). Our RMS sets and optimises ticket and ancillary prices which helped the business secure a record-breaking total revenue sum of over £9BN in our last financial year.
You’ll be working in a cross functional team taking product ownership of the development of the next iteration our RMS system whilst maintaining the high standards of our legacy systems during the transition.
You’ll be embedded into the small, friendly software development team but working directly with commercial teams to drive out, understand and refine requirements for our new NextGen platform.
What you’ll be doing
* Direct an agile software dev team as the Technical Product Owner for RMS
* Maintain a solid technical understanding of the underlying design and architecture of key systems
* Understanding of AWS cloud native services, .NET development, C# and MS SQL.
* Plan, prioritise and manage the product backlog, in keeping with requirements from relevant stakeholders
* Oversee development activities, and ensure that the development team has an adequate backlog to work on
* Working with the Architects, help to shape and define the roadmap for future development of these systems, including highlighting any maintenance activities required.
* Work with third-party suppliers/consumers of our key systems and APIs.
* Coordinate support activity for key systems, in adherence to relevant Service Level Agreements
* Identify learnings and root causes to incidents and issues, and supports their use to drive efficient delivery of future initiatives
* Ensure all risks and issues are captured, tracked and appropriate actions taken
* Ensure all design, quality and security governance processes are followed in line with the direction set out by Strategy and Architecture
