The Role
:
As a Head Chef / Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality dishes and adherence to hygiene standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain.
2. Coordinate resources and manage P&L targets.
3. Develop culinary event timetable using seasonal, local produce
4. Plan innovative menus for drawing room, restaurant, conferences, private dining.
5. Proactively plan menu changes with culinary teams.
6. Educate operational teams on revenue-maximising menus.
7. Provide exceptional guest experiences for memorable stays.
8. Foster strong relationships across the business.
9. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene practices.
Requirements:
10. Prior experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant, either independent or part of a 5-star hotel.
11. Understanding and passion for food and hospitality.
12. Knowledge of classic cooking methods and seasonality.
13. Completion of formal culinary training.
14. Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
15. Right to work in the UK.
