About the Role
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in highways or heavy civils? This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee critical infrastructure works on a high-value project. With a scheduled completion date of mid-2026, we need a skilled professional to drive progress and ensure successful project delivery.
You will play a pivotal role in managing the planning, coordination, and execution of key project sections, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee project delivery, ensuring seamless execution from planning through to completion.
Supervise and monitor site teams and supply chains, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Develop sequencing drawings and lead daily LEAN meetings to drive efficiency.
Manage multiple packages of work, working closely with the commercial team on cost control.
Identify and manage scope changes effectively.
Oversee temporary works requirements and implement value engineering solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Monitor material requirements and oversee ordering and reconciliation.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in project management within highways, heavy civils, earthworks, or drainage.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple work packages.
A proactive, hardworking individual with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to oversee cost control and forecasting.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and driving project progress.
