Key Responsibilities
8. From Entry Level to GCSE and/or Level 2 equivalents, teach science to pupils..
9. Create customised lesson plans for every student
10. Make your classroom a secure and encouraging place by implementing a trauma-informed strategy
11. Work together with the multidisciplinary staff at the school to assist pupils
12. Motivate pupils with enjoyable and interesting classes
13. Encourage a welcoming and upbeat school environment
14. Track and evaluate student's development and give regular feedback.
15. Involve caretakers and parents to create enduring home-school alliances
Qualifications and experience:
16. UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
17. Proven experience teaching Science at Entry Level to GCSE and/or Level 2 equivalents
18. Have the right to work in the UK
19. 2 proven professional references
20. Have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (willing to get one)
21. Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health approaches to teaching.
22. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
23. Compassionate, patient, and resilient nature
24. Adaptable teaching approach
25. Passion for supporting students with SEMH and SEND
26. Good classroom management skills
