SENDCO Required for June 2025 - Maternity Cover
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENDCO to join their team on a temporary basis due to maternity leave. About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled SENDCO to support the school community in ensuring high-quality provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play a key role in developing SEN policies, collaborating with external agencies, and implementing inclusive classroom practices.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* National Award for SEN Coordination (SENDCO qualification)
* Strong experience working with children with SEN
* Prior experience working with external agencies to support SEN provision
* Proven expertise in managing SEN policies and procedures
* Experience in developing and implementing SEND-adapted classroom strategies
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, parents, and pupils
