Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for a new challenge in the IT & Telecoms sector? Construo Recruitment are recruiting a dynamic and results-driven IT / Telecoms Account Director to manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients across the Northern region.
About the Role
As an IT / Telecoms Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately (Apply online only) customers, ensuring the renewal of their existing services while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products. This is a field-based role requiring a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and expand a portfolio of existing customers, driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
* Achieve monthly targets for gross profit, customer retention, and product penetration.
* Renew customer contracts while focusing on increasing service adoption.
* Prepare and deliver professional proposals and tailored presentations to clients.
* Identify service gaps and increase product penetration across the customer base.
* Oversee the full sales cycle, from needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
* Regularly review customer accounts using CRM tools to ensure optimal service utilization.
* Demonstrate flagship products effectively to clients.
* Report on productivity and performance KPIs monthly.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years of field-based account management experience.
* Leasing experience is essential.
* A proven track record of professional growth and success in a sales-driven environment.
* Strong organizational skills with a results-oriented mindset.
* Experience delivering compelling presentations in person and online.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
