In this rewarding role, you’ll work side-by-side with teachers to deliver personalised learning support — whether that’s one-to-one, in small groups, or by adapting resources to suit individual needs. You’ll be instrumental in helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Delivering tailored support to help children with SEND access the curriculum and reach their full potential
* Collaborating with teachers to adapt lesson plans that meet a range of learning needs
* Promoting inclusion and ensuring every child feels valued and supported in the classroom
* Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing among students
* Supporting positive behaviour and helping children stay engaged in their learning journey
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly those with social, emotional, or learning needs
* A calm, confident approach to managing behaviour and using supportive strategies
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
* A genuine passion for creating inclusive, nurturing environments where every child can thrive
Desirable:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or similar additional needs
