We are excited to announce we are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Student Support Officer. This is a permanent, full-time role, term time only, for 39 weeks.
Responsibilities
1. Promote an optimal learning environment and act as a deterrent to unsafe or unacceptable behaviour by monitoring designated areas.
2. Provide individual support to learners and signpost them to the relevant support needs.
3. Support and guide student behaviour while encouraging commitment and punctuality amongst our learners.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people.
2. Ideally hold a First Aid at Work Certificate and demonstrate the ability to respond to incidents/accidents when required.
3. Experience in a similar role and setting.
4. Recent and relevant experience of working within a team.
5. Ability to demonstrate good communication skills with persons at all levels.
