Our client, a reputable academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking a committed Psychology Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Psychology to a wide range of students, fostering their interest in the subject and guiding them through their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Psychology lessons across Key Stage 4 and 5.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
* Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and exploration of psychological theories.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Prepare students for external examinations, including A-Level Psychology, through tailored lessons and revision sessions.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Psychology curriculum.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and staff to support the well-being and academic progress of students.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and a passion for teaching.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage students, helping them achieve their academic potential.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
