The Process Engineer will be responsible for providing process engineering support to large industrial projects, including preparing and checking process design documentation such as P&IDs, calculations, process flow diagrams, and mass balances. You will be involved in equipment sizing and design, providing technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), producing technical specifications, and liaising with clients to advance project goals.
Your Job
* Provide process engineering support to large industrial projects as part of the team at ETA Process Plant.
* Prepare and check process design documentation such as P&IDs, calculations, process flow diagrams, and mass balances to meet project deadlines.
* Perform equipment sizing and design.
* Provide technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) on a range of process equipment (international travel may be required).
* Produce technical specifications and procure equipment.
* Liaise with clients to advance project goals, including project kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and design reviews.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to solve problems effectively.
* Complete work to a high standard that is in accordance with internal work procedures.
* Support sales activities with process engineering knowledge as required.
* Participate in safety study reviews and take actions for implementation.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Degree-qualified Chemical Engineer with industry experience.
* Ability to confidently produce engineering calculations.
* Commitment to process safety with experience in hazard analysis techniques.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry (preferably Oil & Gas) and applying specifications and engineering standards.
* Experience using process simulation software to solve real problems.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Commissioning experience.
* Working towards chartership status with the IChemE.
* Knowledge of water for injection systems for the offshore oil and gas market.
* Experience in membrane filtration.
