£34,000-£37,000 per annum pro-rata (dependant on experience)
37.5 hours per week, Term time only

Are you an experienced and passionate HR professional looking for a rewarding role in the education sector? Goresbrook School is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our team and support our mission of providing excellence in education. We are looking for an energetic, committed individual who is excited to contribute to the ongoing development of the HR team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about admin, systems and processes, who has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a team. About the Role
As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing many aspects of human resources along side the HR Manager, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with school policies and employment laws. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive work environment for our valued staff.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention
✅ Manage employee relations
✅ Ensure compliance with labor laws and school policies
✅ Handle payroll, benefits, and leave management
✅ Support staff training and professional development
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
✔️ Proven experience in human resources (experience in education is a plus)
✔️ Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔️ Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic school environment
