Reed Accountancy are representing a well-established firm in Ipswich to recruit a Tax Technician to support their expanding team. The team provides exceptional tax services to a varied clientele including wealthy individuals. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file personal, trust, and estate tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and guidelines. Prepare and submit Probate Applications, liaising with HMRC and the Probate Registry regarding applications. Support colleagues in managing estate administrations and producing Estate Accounts, as well as preparing Trust Accounts and registering Trusts with the Trust Registration Service. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to provide outstanding service, explaining complex tax issues to clients in a clear and understandable manner. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, interpreting and applying tax legislation effectively to client cases. Maintain ATT qualification and engage in ongoing training to stay current with tax legislation and practices. Skills and Experience: ATT qualification (or equivalent) is essential. Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and practical tax experience. Familiarity with personal, trust, estate, VAT, and other relevant tax laws. Proficiency in tax software, Microsoft Office, and tax compliance systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and client-facing tasks.
