We are seeking a strategic and experienced Commercial Compliance Manager who will be responsible for leading the design and embedding of a commercial compliance framework across the function. Every day you will … Take ownership of the commercial elements of the business quality management system, monitoring & responding to changes in the external environment Ensure the function complies with relevant laws and regulations in line with the SCCL Board’s level of risk appetite, providing the standards for the function on processes and controls. Be the subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, horizon scanning for the organisation, and ensuring that the function operates to the highest standards. Support the drive and measure compliance of the standards for product assurance processes to be followed by the category management teams Coordinate activity with other teams and ensuring focus in areas such as sustainability, quality, corporate regulation requirements (e.g. mgmt. of MHRA licenses), social value, scope 3 emissions. A minimum of three years of experience in compliance management, and programme management preferably within a Procurement setting. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards. Previous experience in policy writing and record keeping. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
