As you will be leading and working within a highly supportive team, being a strong team player and possessing excellent people skills is vital. Fundamental to the role will be responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room, making certain that all children are well cared for, whilst maintaining a high quality, all-inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes open and equal opportunities for all children and adults. The Room Lead will offer a wide range of stimulating activities that promote all areas of the children’s development in a safe, happy and caring environment. The Room Lead will need to be a creative and reflective leader, who is motivated to implement new ideas through planned learning opportunities and employ a range of strategies to ensure that our Nursery continues to offer the highest standards of care and learning. For this position, it is essential that applicants have a minimum of Level 3 recognised childcare qualification and previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
